History, conditions & layout
History
A newer Strip-style layout racing past iconic casinos on long straights with heavy braking, built for a night spectacle in the entertainment capital, with a very different F1 “show” from classic road courses.
Typical conditions
Desert night: large day–night surface temperature swings, dry air, and sometimes gusty conditions along long straights. A cold track under lights is possible late at night.
Track layout & design
High-speed, long straights, 90s and chicanes in the casino zone; a power and braking challenge with a very high average top speed. Street furniture and low grip off-line in places.
